On September 30th, 1995, two of college football’s most powerful and storied programs met in Ohio Stadium to renew a rivalry left dormant for almost 60 years. Their previous battle in the Horseshoe had been called the greatest game in the first 50 years of college football, but victory that day was with the Irish.
