29. Cris Carter
With hands of glue and feet with wings, Cris Carter soared to instant stardom. And in just three seasons, he set a new standard by which Buckeye receivers would forever be judged.

As a freshman, Cris capped his sensational debut season with a Rose Bowl record 9 catches for 172 yards. The following year he set a new Ohio State record for catches and was named all-Big Ten. The year after that he reset his reception record and was named all-American.

But before his final season, Carter was declared ineligible for signing with an agent. His career in Columbus was over. Forced to go pro, Cris went on to become one of the NFL’s biggest stars, his previous troubles a distant memory.
