31. Tom Klaben – 1974 Michigan
With the Big Ten title and a trip to the Rose Bowl riding on the line, Ohio State and Michigan met in Columbus for 1974’s version of their annual blood feud. One unlikely player stepped forward to be the star of the game.

Klaben’s kicks brought the Buckeyes back from a 10-0 deficit and sent the Scarlet and Gray packing for their third straight Rose Bowl.

For the Hungarian born Klaben, whose family escaped from behind the Iron Curtain, the performance was a record-setting feat on a historic day.
